SERVING THE PEOPLE OF ESWATINI
South Sub supports Wetsembekile Ministries through personal relationships, congregation donation and volunteer work.
Wetsembekile (pronounced way-tsem-be-ghee-lay) means, "God is faithful" in Siswati. He has been at work in Swaziland for a long time, and will continue long after we are gone, and so our job is to point people to Him and His faithfulness.
Week of Compassion

South Sub supports Week of Compassion through congregation donations and drives to support compassion at work around the world, around the year.
Week of Compassion is more than a week. It is a ministry of the whole Church, reaching those in need "around the world, around the year.” Any time we respond to a need in the world, we bear witness to the unity of our table, faithfully sharing the gifts that we have as an expression of Christ's love. In working together with partners, we represent the Disciples of Christ commitment to unity, making our resources reach farther and growing our impact on a global scale.
Operation Christmas Child

South Sub supports Operation Christmas Child annually via the donation of shoeboxes and financial gifts.
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational, evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting children around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
